

Meath County Childcare Committee was established in 2001 under The Department of Justice Equality and Law Reforms Equal Opportunities Programme (EOCP) an initiative which funded and supported the development of childcare.
The Committees main role is to maintain and support service provision, stimulate and promote the establishment of new services and improve the quality of childcare services in the Meath area.
Over the last five years Meath CCC have supported the development of 70 new childcare services and provide ongoing support to the 221 services that currently operate within the county.
Meath CCC is committed to quality childcare through information and training initiatives over the last 5 years Meath CCC have supported 455 parents, 678 providers with information on a variety of topics.
Its members come from statutory and community organisations, currently there are 17 members on the committee.
